Bioten Portugal needed to make itself heard

Bioten is a skincare brand that offers products enriched with a 100% natural extracts. This relatively new brand in the Portuguese market had a problem: it was difficult for the brand to stand out and make itself heard in a very crowded product category. So our challenge was cast!
Design an engaging content strategy was the main objective defining the action plan for Bioten Portugal. The key was to build content that performs and in order to do so, we followed a 3 steps preparation plan:
1) Know the audience - Who are Bioten consumers? Who are the brand influencers? Who is the main target and who is the secondary one?
2) Analyse the audience - habits, needs and wants
3) Use Bioten's main brand assets as base for every piece of content
Only after this thorough research we figured out which steps to take in the future to achieve the brand’s essential goal: brand awareness.
To communicate our media content we needed to find the right media, making the move to converged media strategy. We selected several touching points and the adequate media channels (from paid, earned, and owned) - and we treated them as channels that complement each other.
