More than a hotel group

A strong brand is born from investment, dedication, and know-how of a solid, dynamic and prepared team.

Details

Monday created the hotel group’s brand identity with an intense strategy and analysis prior to the designs. To support the new brand’s launch, we designed a wide variety brand materials, from signs and roll-ups to flyers.

Briefing

NAU Hotels & Resorts is anchored on a strategic link between digital and physical, respecting all steps in the hotel industry. The ambition to be a distinct operator required a new brand identity and image for the group.

Inspired by tradition

Influenced by Portugal’s history and its strong connection to the sea, the logo is based on the sails of a vessel which leads to the discovery of new places. We wanted to emphasize the values of elegance, sobriety and harmony through the combination of elements and color choice. The font was designed exclusively for the group, creating a distinctive brand image.

MGallery by Sofitel is a boutique hotel collection that belongs to Accor Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Europe. We developed an e-book for iOS, Android and Web, exclusively addressed to internal training and with offline access.

GoldNutrition was looking for a partner to build their new digital home. They wanted to better connect with their consumers and to build a better visual brand presence. The underlying desire was to grow its user experience and have a full e-commerce experience.

GoldNutrition’s goal is to create quality products that fit life any time, anywhere in the world. Our work with GoldNutrition began by understanding their values and how they wanted to impact the world. It all starts by innovating, building trust, quality products and having a close relationship with consumers.

The paradox of choice

We gave consumers an easy and quick way to choose what they needed. We wanted to eliminate any struggle to make a decision.

To rebuild GoldNutrition’s website we needed to understand what the brand needed, for the site to incorporate its design and style. The result was a website focused on enhancing both content and the brand voice.

Portugal Trails approached Monday to design their new mobile app. Our method based on business design and experience design principles enabled Portugal Trails® to have a new visual experience.

With the user always in mind, our team created an intuitive and clean composition to make interaction effortless. Focusing on this allows easy interactivity for non-tech users too.

The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, established in 2009 by Red Bull, is an annual series of cliff diving events which only a limited number of competitors can take part in.

Briefing

Monday was invited to create the official website for Red Bull Cliff Diving Azores 2015 to communicate the event to Portuguese audiences.

To make it fun and dynamic, we developed the Dive Face campaign where Red Bull fans could support and participate in the Dive Face GIF contest.

With more than 47,000 visits, the Dive face platform earned us Website of The Year 2015 on Prémios Sapo.

Fado & Food is one of the most well-known and prestigious groups of Lisbon’s fado houses. They realized that to reach worldwide, they had to invest in their digital presence.

More than a restaurant

Our analysis showed that the group needed a new layout that could represent the space and atmosphere of each restaurant while maintaining the cohesion of the brand. It needed to effectively convey the inspirations from the tradition of fado and Portuguese culture. Special emphasis on online booking was also essential.

Monday was responsible for the strategy, development and implementation of the project, which included the redesign of Adega Machado, Café Luso and Timpanas’ websites.

Our approach

Following the trend of mobile growth and apps, Monday and its partner Cherry Top developed an app that helps you locate your luggage through a simple QR code.

To reach its audience, Flugg needed a visual identity that inspires confidence and simplifies everything that might be tricky when it comes to QR codes. An expert on long flights, Monday developed all the branding, mobile app design and website, incorporating the QR system and all the visual content elements needed for hassle-free travelling.

Snickers is world’s best-selling chocolate bar and this global brand needed a spotless Portuguese website. We delivered an easy to navigate, dynamic, young and interactive website, while making the product itself the number one focus.

The challenge of working with a big brand like this is the desire to create a different and attractive communication. Our main objective was to never lose the visual characteristics, regardless of the campaign that was presented on the website.

A strong connection with fans

The perfect combination for the two sides of Twix

With a creative story, Twix wanted to show the world its two chocolate bars. After several fights between both sides, there was a need to impose a choice: which is your favorite? And with the will to expose their equal inequalities, we launched a divided website that is united by the flavor!

Briefing

The brand needed a fun and young website that would integrate the international campaign. Monday added usability. The user navigates through an animated website that is adapted to different devices in an intuitive and fun navigation.

Two sides to the story

We developed different elements for each side, integrated in a dynamic and fun way, to enhance communication of the brand and create a distinctive and engaging website. On mobile, the user can navigate between the left side and the right side. This way, all the contents are clearly divided, but we kept the experience fun.
